Clucks are short abrupt sounds, made using a quick strike with the top of the call. Yelps are a series of evenly spaced calls made by dragging the lid across the side a number of times in a rhythmic motion. Purrs are soft feeding calls reproduced by gently and slowly dragging the lid, creating a vibrato effect.
